WillieBurger (Bend, Old Mill District) - Located in the Deschutes Brewery parking lot, this food truck serves out-of-this-world smash burgers for crazy low prices. A must try for burger fans!
Monkless (Bend, Old Mill District) - This Belgian style brewery sits above the Deschutes River near the Old Mill District. The beer and brats are to die for and the outdoor patio has some of the best views in town!
Podski (Bend, Box Factory) - Located just across the street from the Box Factory, this food truck lot has tons of options to fit every diet. Make sure to grab one of their tall beers!
River Pig Saloon (Bend, Box Factory) - Our favorite place to grab a Rainier and a bite after a day on the water. This no-frills bar is the perfect place to chill while devouring some nachos.
Zydeco Kitchen (Bend, Downtown) - A date night favorite! Cajun-inspired food and cocktails that will blow you away. Gets very busy in the evenings, so arrive early or make a reservation.
Farmer's Deli (Bend, Downtown) - A relatively new find that has quickly become our favorite food truck in Bend. Located behind The Commons in Downtown Bend, very close to the Mirror Pond parking lot. Grab a fresh sandwich or salad to eat on the grass down by the river. Order a coffee at Looney Bean while you're there!
On Tap (Bend, by our house) - This tap house is just down the street from our house (which means we go there a lot!). They have a rotating selection of beers from all over the state, as well as a variety of food trucks to choose from.
The Barn (Sisters, Downtown) - The Barn is a tap house featuring a number of different food trucks. If you like pizza, be sure to try Boone Dog's!
Sisters Meat and Smokehouse (Sisters, Downtown) - A small storefront that packs some of the best meats this side of the mountains. This smokehouse also serves up some mean sandwiches using house made smoked and cured meats!
Best Drinks
The Cellar, by Porter Brewing Company (Bend, Downtown) - Traditional English ales served in a... wait for it... cellar! Sit underground, literally, and enjoy some pot pies, pretzels, and sausages.
Williamette Valley Vineyards (Bend, Downtown) - For the wine lovers among us, this is a classic tasting room that showcases the best of Oregon's Pinots. Try some bites (specifically, the whipped feta) while you're there, you won't regret it.
Stihl Whiskey Bar (Bend, Downtown) - Excellent cocktails and craft spirits served in a fancy glass. Over 400 bottles of Whiskey available to choose from!
Crux Fermentation Project (Bend, near Box Factory) - Our favorite brewery in town. Crux has something for everyone; make sure to try the Bochi Bochi Lager, the Crux Pils, or the Glow Stick Hazy.
Boneyard Beer (Bend, Central) - Famous for their RPM IPA, Boneyard is known for their big, bold flavors. The pub is a cool spot to hangout, with easy parking.
Legend Cider Company (La Pine) - This is literally the best cider in the world, and Megan's personal favorite. It's a must try if you enjoy unfiltered ciders that pack a fruity punch!
Best Coffee
Looney Bean (Bend, Downtown) - Best dirty chai lattes in town. Once you have your drink, head out back to their private grassy area, which is right on the river. Grab a sandwich at Farmer's Deli while you're there!
Sisters Coffee Company (Bend, Old Mill District & Sisters, Downtown) - A Deschutes County staple, Sisters Coffee is known to all the locals as the meanest bean around. The location in Bend is small, but just as good as the main location in Sisters.
Fika Sisters Coffeehouse (Sisters, Downtown) - A cozy, Swedish coffeehouse serving up excellent coffee and incredible Swedish pastries.
Cafe Des Chutes (Bend, near the Box Factory) - A European style cafe featuring an array of traditional, gluten free, and vegan pastries and sandwiches with excellent coffee.
